Pitch A Friend: Seattle
12 Pitches, 3 minutes each, 1 Night of Laughter and Love
Sometimes all we need is a wingman and a crowd to up our dating game. Have a friend that you think is great and needs a little help to up their dating game? Apply to Pitch a Friend, where you get three minutes to present on your friend’s best qualities to the dating crowd. If anyone’s interested they’ll have a chance to connect at the end! Note: Pitch a friend is free for Presenters and Presentees.
About the Event
Single? Maybe need a fun date night activity? Then purchase a ticket to be an audience member for what's sure to be a fun night of laughs and love!
Presentations: Presenters will get up on stage and present a brief three-minute PowerPoint on their single friend’s best qualities. They can use images and any other media to show off their friend. After the presentation, there will be one to two minutes of Q&A from the crowd before we move on to the next presentation. Interested audience members will be able to submit their contact information to presentees, and presentees are free to follow up to schedule a date.
After Party: At the end of the night, we'll open up the floor to a general mingle with all the contestants and audience members! We'll have a DJ, themed drinks, ice breakers, and a hell of a lot of fun!
This event is open to all gender identities and sexual orientations! We welcome all at The Seattle Social Club!
Note about Safety: The Seattle Social Club takes the safety of our members and attendees very seriously. Please read our code of conduct prior to attending our events. The Seattle Social Club reserves the right to refuse entry and services to anyone for any reason, especially those who may be deemed a risk to other attendees safety.
Agenda
6:30 pm Arrival and Check In: We ask that all presenters and their friends arrive during this time so we can check you in and prepare you.
7:10 pm Presentations Begin: We'll start with a general welcome and then the presentations will kick off!
~8:00 pm Intermission: We'll have a 20 min intermission roughly half way through for people to grab more drinks, use the restroom, and socialize. This time is subject to change due to presentation length.
~8:20 pm Presentations Resume: We'll resume with our remaining presentations.
~9:00 pm Let the Party Begin: The DJ kicks off and the party starts! Mingle with participants and other attendees for whats sure to be a hell of a time!

Deadline Extended: All presentation applications are due by January 5th.
Application Process: We’ll ask for your contact information, your single friends contact information and a copy of your presentation. The format of your presentation is up to you but we prefer it be compatible with Google Slides, Canva, PDF, or Powerpoint.
We’ll then go through the submitted presentations and pick the contestants. We’ll then send you an invite link if selected. We love presentations with a theme, humor, or interactivity!

Please make sure to include preferred sexual preference and pronouns on your presentations so that audience members know whether it’s ok to reach out for connection.
Once you’ve uploaded your presentation and submitted your application, we’ll let you know if you’re accepted!
